Faten Kikano is a highly regarded expert in architecture, urban vulnerability, and humanitarian work, particularly in addressing the needs of refugees and vulnerable populations. She is a PhD holder and has worked extensively in forced migration, governance, climate adaptation strategies, and post-conflict reconstruction.
Kikano works as a Principle Director with BC2, an urban planning and consultancy firm in Quebec, where she leads projects that focus on the empowerment of Indigenous communities. She heads Liquid Space Lab, a think tank focused on studying vulnerable human settlements.
Kikano also lectures internationally and has organized workshops on humanitarian architecture in countries such as Turkey, Jordan, and Canada.
