Arkitekter Utan Gränser (ASF-Sweden) was founded in 2006 with the goal of creating and improving access to safe, sustainable and equitable development of the built environment for all – locally and globally. We are a network of architects and built environment professionals connecting people internationally through our projects. Together, we create a knowledge exchange platform for local, sustainable and just architecture, urban development and participatory processes.
Our projects vary from placemaking in informal settlements, the construction of buildings and exhibitions and workshops. Through our interdisciplinary work we collaborate with local partners to deliver design solutions that meet long-term societal needs. Through our projects, educational context and working methods, we understand and monitor development issues with the goal of being a catalyst in the transformation towards more sustainable and just societies.
