Architects Without Borders-Palestine is a non-profit organization co-founded by ambitious
Palestinian architects. It aims to promote sustainable, cooperative, decolonial and grounded
architectural practices.
Our Objectives are the following:
● To create a network of experts (architects, urban planners, etc) and facilitate the
coordination efforts between different governmental and international bodies on the
subject of reconstruction and sustainable development of Palestinian villages, towns,
and urban centers.
● To coordinate and support the reconstruction efforts in Palestine by promoting and
putting forward the local and national experts (architects, engineers, and other experts)
at the forefront of the (re)construction efforts of Palestine.
● To structure academic and cultural partnerships between local, national, and
international institutions, to promote research-based collaborations, and to introduce
the Palestinian question in architecture educational programs.
● To promote awareness and knowledge on humanitarian and sustainable architectural
practices and provide students and professionals with training and educational
programs.
